George Schlittenhardt Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 18, 2019 we had to say goodbye to George Schlittenhardt (Valley City, North Dakota), born in Temvik, North Dakota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Schlittenhardt and Emma Schlittenhardt (Taxis); his wife Alyce; his daughter Vicky Olson; and his sisters, Ella Skager and Elma Miller.

He is survived by: his children, Connie Retterath (Gary), Darcy Beilke (Mike), Kelly Pederson (Neil) and Jeff Schlittenhardt (Connie); his grandchildren, Brady Retterath (Kristin), Megan Retterath, Cody Beilke (Jenni), Melissa Cook (Nate), Christopher Olson (Jamie), Talon Schlittenhardt and Kaylee Schlittenhardt; and his siblings, Martha Just, Dennis Schlittenhardt (Bonnie) and Darrell Schlittenhardt (Oddie). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in George's honor to Sheyenne Care Center Therapy Department, the North Dakota Firefighter's Museum and Hall of Fame located in Garrison, or Hospice of the Red River Valley.
