He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Burkett and Jane Burkett (Oakley). He is survived by: his children, Hudson Burkett of Valley City, ND, Angelic Rockette of Lacrosse, WI and Gloria Burkett of Valley City, ND; his grandson Joshua Kalabza; his sisters, Kathy Burch and MJ Connor; his aunt Mae Krier; and his nephews, Jon and Pius Werner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lerud Mathias Funeral Home Chapel (515 Central Ave N, Valley City, ND 58072). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
