She was predeceased by: her siblings, Alvin, Ervin, Harold and Stella; her husband Tom; her niece Carrie; her nephew Rick Bier; and her great grandchild Cooper Hinrichs.
She is survived by: her sisters, Lucille Mayer and Betty Peters; her daughters, Annette Hinrichs (Jon) and Tonya Wells (Morgan); her grandchildren, Alec (Jackie), Riley, Keifer Hinrichs (Stacie) and Ridley Wells; and her great grandchildren, Camden, Charlie, Calvin, Theo and Reese Hinrichs.
Marlys' request was to have memorials go to the Medina Cemetery, the Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals or the HIA Hospice which took such loving care of her along with the staff at The Legacy Place in Valley City.
