He was predeceased by : his parents, Marshall John Munzlinger Sr. and Agatha Munzlinger (Voss); and his siblings, Richard, Ralph, Joyce and Marilyn.

He is survived by : his wife Jacque; and his children, Lee Skyles (Debra), Penny Peterson (Monte), Sherrell Gapsch (Michael), Scott Skyles and Melissa Spears (Randall). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
