He was predeceased by: his sister Nancy. He is survived by: his son Heath James of Grand Forks, ND; his siblings, JoAnn Spickler of Glenfield, ND, Richard Lee (Terry) of Valley City, Marcy Karr (David) of Deerwood, MN, Sandy Pack of Patterson, CA, Sherri McQuaide (Bob) of Santa Cruz, CA and Laurie Bell (Brian) of Orcas Island, WA; and his close friend Robin Kinney of Valley City. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
