He is survived by: his wife Brandee Schmidt; his stepdaughters, Mandee Pyle of Santa Rosa, California and Shada Robinson (Ryan) of Gering, Nebraska; and his siblings, Karl Schmidt (Esperanza) of Ocoee, Frederick "Butch" Schmidt of Ruso, Richard Schmidt (Sharon) of Ardock, Jonathan Schmidt (Isabelle) of Bowdoin, Maine and Louise Danielson (Jerry) of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
