As Shirley departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Shirley leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Kronke and Anna Kronke (Gabriel); and her husband Harold Hoff. She is survived by: her children, Lee (Tess), Janice Berg (Dave), David (Ronda), Mark (Veseda) and Carol Crandall (John); and her siblings-in-law, Howard Hoff of Billings, MT and Alvera Sturm of Sun City, AZ.. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the SMP Health-St. Raphael Chapel (979 Central Ave N, Valley City, ND 58072).
