It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Willson (Valley City, North Dakota), who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Velure and Dorothy Velure (Larson); and her brothers, Clayton, Robert (Bev), John "Jack" Velure and Jack Willson.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Willson; her children, Joanne Jorissen (Dale) of Leal, ND, Jack Willson (Amy) of Ottertail, MN, Janelle Jensen (Calvin) of Grand Forks, ND and Janis LeBlanc (George) of Frederick, MD.; and her siblings-in-law, Beverly Velure, Arlene "Lennie" Velure, Mary Jean Willson, Judy Dauer and Robert Willson. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
