Myrdal of Valley City, North Dakota, born in Devils Lake, North Dakota, whose life came to an end on August 28, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Veta Myrdal and Fred Myrdal; and her daughter Lara Fairchild. She is survived by: her husband Charles Shipley; her children, Nellie Sullivan (Mike) and Wil Shipley; her granddaughters, Katie Tomlinson and Jessie Fitzgerald (Deja); her stepgrandsons, Mike Jr. and Connor Sullivan; and her siblings, John Myrdal (Linda) and Susan Myrdal (Charles). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
