He was predeceased by: his parents, Franz Pedersen and Norma Pedersen (Jackman); his sister Betty Risser; his sister-in-law Betty Jo Pedersen; his nephew Guy Risser; and his brother-in-law Stanley Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Clewell Meester; his siblings, Fran Nelson and Norm Pedersen; his sister-in-law Mary Jane Clewell; and his stepchildren, Veronica Johnson (Raymond), Donita Johnson (Shane), Rhonda Bostic (Earl) and Tom Meester (Sarah). He is also survived by 13 step grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
