We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2025, at the age of 81, Betty D. Larson of Velva, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Dockter and Marie Dockter (Morlang); her siblings, Rueben Dockter (Marge), Roy Dockter (Alverta), Alma Dockter, Willie Dockter, Erwin Dockter (Linda), Ralph Dockter (Doris), Clarence Dockter and Marjorie Chandler; and her siblings-in-law, Kathy Dockter, Marvin Bohlender and Dennis Killian.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Dale Larson; her daughters, Carmen Briggs (Jonathan), Patty O'Shea (Robert), D'Ann Johnson (John) and Sally Anderson (Mark); her grandchildren, Kyle Briggs, Taylor O'Shea (Molly), Erin Bruner (Ty), Cassie O'Shea (Brandon Ballantyne), Tricia Bibeault (Daimen), Gunnar Johnson (Lindsey), Robert Anderson and Brady Anderson; her siblings, Delores Bohlender, Marion Killian, Herbert Dockter and Clifford Dockter (Bonnie); and her brother-in-law Ben Chandler.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Oak Valley Lutheran Church (400 Main St N, Velva, ND 58790). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
