He was predeceased by: his mother Marion Larson (Wastwett); his wife Betty Lou; and his siblings, Lauren Larson and Loretta Stordahl. He is survived by: his father Lawrence Larson; his daughters, Carmen Briggs (Jonathan), Patty O'Shea (Robert), D'Ann Johnson (John) and Sally Anderson (Mark); his grandchildren, Kyle Briggs, Taylor O'Shea (Molly), Erin Bruner (Ty), Cassie Ballantyne (Brandon), Tricia Bibeault (Daimen), Gunnar Johnson (Lindsey), Robert Anderson and Brady Anderson; and his siblings-in-law, Mavis Larson and Ernie Stordahl. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Oak Valley Lutheran Church (400 Main St N, Velva, ND 58790). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
