She was predeceased by : her parents, John Laffen and Elsie Laffen (Rice); her spouse Milfred Haugen; her sons-in-law, Harold Hulet and Douglas Van Berkom; and her siblings, Helen, Evelyn, Sandra, Lawrence, Donald and Leslie.

She is survived by : her children, Dianne Van Berkom of Minot and Darryl Haugen of Minot; her grandchildren, Michael, Brian, Kimberly, Erik, Alex and Emily; her brother-in-law Dale Saville of Camp Wood, TX; and also Daniel Haugen (Cheryl) of Portland, OR.

Memorials are preferred to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or Samaritan's Purse.
