It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Edith Nermoe of Velva, North Dakota, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Miller and Edith Miller (Snyder); her husband Gene O. Nermoe; her brothers, Wesley, Roger and Kenneth; her sister-in-law Geri Spanier; and her granddaughter Marian Elizabeth Bryant.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda (Jeff Lundblad), Constance (Shawn Bryant), Velva, Rachel (Chad Moen) and Upham; her grandchildren, Johnathan (Jack), Zane, Sarah Lundblad, William and Matthew Bryant; her brother Philip Miller of Fort Myers, Florida; and her siblings-in-law, Neil Nermoe of Minot, Bonnie Miller and Darlene Wettels. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“Marilyn was not only my best friend, but we were "sisters." She always told me I was like the sister she never had. I am BEYOND DEVASTATED to read of her passing. Rachel, Connie and Brenda, our deepest sympathy to you on this loss of the best Mom in the world, and to me and all who knew her the loss of one of the "brightest lights" in my and our world. “I AM DEEPLY SHOCKED AND SADDENED TO READ THIS OBITUARY. I SENT ROSES TO MARILYN LAST APRIL 9TH, AND THAT WAS THE LAST TIME I HEARD FROM HER IN SPITE OF TRYING TO REACH OUT TO HER MANY, MANY TIMES. I KNEW HER BIRTHDAY WAS COMING UP AND I WAS GOING TO SEND HER MORE ROSES, BUT I THOUGHT MAYBE I SHOULD CHECK THE OBITUARIES JUST IN CASE, SINCE I HADN'T HEARD FROM HER FOR SO LONG.
