He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Kassman and Emma Kassman (Remien); and his siblings, Ella, Edna, Eva Mae, Mary Lou, Laura, Dora, Harold, Albert, Walter, Elmer, Daniel, Ardell, Lawrence and Norman.

He is survived by: his children, Jaimie Kassman (Lynn), Kari Fecht (Dan), Tammy Noren and Jason Kassman; his close friend Barbara Nannenga; and his siblings, Delores Wagner (Daniel) and Billie Kassman (Debbie). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
