With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ben Wawers (Wahpeton, North Dakota), who passed away on September 27, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Wawers and Scholastica Wawers (Bernard); his siblings, Edwin Wawers (Vangie), Leander Wawers (Edith), Paul Wawers (Joan), Ione O'hearn (Eugene), Eve Miller (Franklin) and Dianne Clementish (Al); and his brother-in-law Lyle Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Miller; his sons, Craig Wawers (Gwen) and Clark Wawers (Kim); his granddaughter Gay Demaree (Jon); his great grandchild Nathan Demaree; and his sister Marlys Miller.
