It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine E. Fixen (Wahpeton, North Dakota), who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Hove (Bob) and Marlys Hove (Jones); and her in-laws, Lloyd and Arlis Fixen. She is survived by : her husband Scott Fixen; her daughters, Jennifer Jameson (Thaddeus) and Ellen Simonson; her grandsons, TJ Jameson and Blake Simonson; her brothers, David Hove (Linda), Thomas Hove and James Hove; and her siblings-in-law, Steven Fixen (Shelly), Ruth Roman (Marcus), Lisa Schulz (Bryan), Mary Ann Allen (Michael) and Sara Bellmore (Brice). She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Galchutt Lutheran Church (105 Galchutt Ave, Wahpeton, ND 58075). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
