He was predeceased by: his parents, Anders Raftevold and Florence Raftevold (Eckes); and his brother Wallace. He is survived by: his brother Gerald; his sister-in-law Judith Raftevold (Stelton); his nieces and nephews, Daniel Raftevold (Cynthia) of Bend, OR, Arizona, Lori Bachmann (Bob) of Rochert, MN and Susan Raftevold of Detroit Lakes, MN; his sister-in-law LuWanna Raftevold of Remer, MN; and his wife Bev.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vertin-Munson Funeral Home (224 6th St N, Wahpeton, ND 58074). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St John's Catholic Church (115 2nd St N, Wahpeton, ND 58075). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (18029 79 1/2 St SE, Wahpeton, ND 58075).
