Delores Weitzel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delores Weitzel (Wahpeton, North Dakota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Delores' memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Delores' journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray (Hilma Sirois) and Delores; and her daughter Deborah Weitzel (Billy Whitaker). She is survived by: her significant other William Louis Weitzel; and her daughters, Ann Schmidt (Tim), Patricia Hicks (Doug) and Jennifer Bourassa. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (115 2nd St N, Wahpeton, ND 58075). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
