The memory of Edward Shorma (Wahpeton, North Dakota), who passed away on October 19, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Shorma and Sophie Shorma; and his grandson Kyle Shorma. He is survived by: his wife Pat (Wettstein); his children, Richard Shorma (Rose), William Shorma (Marcie), Tom Shorma (Julie), Bob Shorma (Cathy), Jane Stallings (Troy), Don Shorma (Roxy), Shelle Burckhalter (Steve) and David Shorma (Kathryn); his siblings, Andy Shorma, Pat Ressler (Emil) and Mary Strande (Earl); his sister-in-law Donna Shorma; his siblings, Tony Shorma, Joseph, Leona Shorma, Barb Mashek (Mike) and Henny Matthys (Richard); his sister-in-law Sharon Shorma; and his caregivers, Ed, Pat and Cindy Mashek. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to the NDSCS Scholarship Foundation in honor of Ed and Pat Shorma.
