He is survived by: his children, Allen Carlson and Angie Rortvedt (Scott); his grandchildren, David Carlson (Katarina), Brianna Swanson (Kyle) and Carley Rortvedt (Bennett Rindy); his great grandchildren, Tristen Carlson, Ava Carlson, Charles Herbert Carlson, Eliza Swanson and Willard Swanson; his sister Gwen May (Cliff); his brother-in-law Rick Hinrichs (Barb); and his niece Rosie.
