He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Jahner and Eva Jahner (Sticka); his son Scott Lee Jahner; his siblings, Fredrick Jahner, Barbara Bergee (Gene) and Donna Howe; and his great grandchild Bennett Ruele.
He is survived by: his wife Alta; his children, David Jahner (Denise) of Regent, ND, Chad Jahner (Lana) of Dickinson, ND and Cheri Peterson (Wade) of Wahpeton, ND.; and his grandchildren, Kristin Smillie (Luke), Lee Jahner (Joni), Nathaniel Jahner (Jocey), Courtney Ruele (Andrew) and Alexandra Jahner.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Vertin-Munson Funeral Home (224 6th St N, Wahpeton, ND 58074). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
