She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lois and Chet Powell; her husband Allan D. Jirele; her parents-in-law, Ed and Rita Jirele; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Jirele (Shirley), Neil Jirele (Marge), Orrie Jirele (Marie), Cleo Grebin, Marian Kliger (Powell) and Eileen Powell.
She is survived by: her children, John, Joe (Jasmine), Jim (Teri), Jenifer Jirele (Mike Fratto) and Jane Johnson (Scott); her siblings, Peter Powell, Susan Rydell (Stan), Jane Vasiliou (George), Peggy Betlock (Dan), Greg Powell, Jim Powell (Pam) and Ted Powell; and her brother-in-law Tom Grebin. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (115 2nd St N, Wahpeton, ND 58075). Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
