He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Matejcek and Marian Matejcek (Schirmers) of Wahpeton; his parents-in-law, Edward and LuMae Krump; his siblings, David Matejcek and Linda Matejcek; his brother-in-law Dean Krump; and his nephew Jeremy Krump.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy of John's Catholic Church; his daughters, Mandy Klein (Tyler) and Kari Miranowski (Adam); his grandson Hunter; his siblings, Mike (Kathryn), Mark (Geralyn), John (Lori), Jean and Kathy; and his in-laws, Tami Matejcek, Kay Bertelsen (Jim), Rita Krump, Susan Raguse (Dave), Scott Krump (Sandy) and Jeff Krump (Dawn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
