Rayder E. Rude Obituary
We bid farewell to Rayder E. Rude of Walcott, North Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 6, 2026 at the age of 93. Rayder touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Rude and Ethel Rude (Nygaard); his wife Marlys Heglie; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his sons, Rob (Colleen) of Fargo, Randy of Walcott and Ron (Laurie) of Marion, IA; his grandchildren, Riley (Jennie), Tim (Lindsay) and Nick (Alexis); his great grandchildren, Julian, Jayda, Brody and Tatum; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Rude, Jeff Heglie (Claire), Keith Heglie (Delores) and Mike Heglie (Denise). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Walcott Cemetery Association or to a charity of the donor's choice, although such gestures are entirely optional.
