He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice Bjornstad and Donald Bjornstad. He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his children, Martin of Walhalla, Elias of Walhalla and Katelyn of Walhalla; and his siblings, Rodney Bjornstad, Paul Bjornstad and Jodi Houge (Nate). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Walhalla or Cavalier Ambulance Service.
