It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morris E. Nelson of Washburn, North Dakota, who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Morris E. Nelson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Nelson and Gladys Nelson (Carlson); and his spouse Thordyce (Van Zee). He is survived by : his children, Kimberly Erlandson (Bob), Valorie Hetletved (Dwight), Donna Nelson, Lonna Nelson and Randall Nelson (Rhonda); and his close friend Barbara Goehring. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren; his 9 great grandchildren; many step grandchildren.

The family requests memorials go to the Washburn United Methodist Church, Washburn Lions Club, ND 4-H Foundation or the Washburn Ambulance Service.
