He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Ted" Gathman (Ted) and Bernice Gathman (Zimmerman); his daughter Nicole "Nikki" Gathman; and his siblings, Frank Gathman (Virginia), Ted Gathman, George Gathman (Pat), Gary Gathman and Kathy Mosser (Vergil).
He is survived by: his wife Ardyce Gathman; his son Trevor Gathman (Dixi); his granddaughters, Miah and Anna Gathman; his sisters, Jean Hennessy (Francis), Judy Schwehr (Bob) and Mary Kurtz; his sister-in-law Laurie Gathman; and his brothers, Jim Gathman (Teresa) and Steve Gathman (Kim). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
