He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kummer and Lillian Kummer (Veysey); his grandson Jonathan; and his siblings, Fern, Cindy, Jerome, Clayton, David, Douglas, Mike, Stanley and Miles.
He is survived by: his daughter Mona Ray; his wife Kathy Benson; his son Kenneth (KC); his granddaughters, Tori, Elizabeth, Gracie, Emily and Brittany; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Naelaih and Alannah; his sisters, Lorrain Walton of Lovington, NM, Gladys Greggory (James) of Midland, TX, Shirley Lovass (Robert) of Watford City, ND, Loretta Anderson of Watford City, ND, Linda Wilson (Jerry) of Tacoma, WA, Debbie Running (Randy) of Mesquite, NV and Donna Berg (Kelly) of Valdosta, GA; his siblings-in-law, Betty Kummer, LaVeta Kummer of Watford City, ND, Darla Zimny of Burlington, ND and Kenneth Benson of Lansford, ND; and his uncle Kenny (Sure). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
