Dale Bakken Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dale Bakken of West Fargo, North Dakota, born in Fosston, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Bakken and Ruby Bakken (Olson); and his brother Ryan. He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Bakken and Elizabeth Maynard (Josh); his grandchildren, Christian, Cullen, Beckett and Jovi; and his siblings, Carol Johnson (Punky), Catherine Bell and Paul Bakken (Charlow). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 5:30 PM at 444 Sheyenne St, West Fargo, ND 58078.

Memorials are preferred to the Alzhiemers Association or Hospice.
