David Rusness Obituary
The memory of David Rusness (West Fargo, North Dakota), who passed away on May 27, 2026 at the age of 64, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard W. Rusness Jr. and Isabel Margaret Rusness (Halliday); his sisters, Peggy Laney and Paula Parmer; and his brother-in-law Bruce Parmer.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his daughters, Mikala Ann Stroh (Dustin) of Omaha and Jamie Lynn Carrillo (Travis) of Moorhead, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Mykel Stroh, Dayved Stroh, Jaxyn Stroh, Owen King, Cooper Carrillo, Kodi Carrillo, Faith Stroh, Hailee Stroh and Avery Stroh; his brother Ben Rusness (Cheryl) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his parents-in-law, Robert and Joyce Remmick of Fargo; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Laney of Seattle, Washington, Andy Tollefson of Grand Forks and Sheila Rabideaux of Detroit Lakes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
