He was predeceased by: his parents, Connor Foster and Nancy Foster (Cooper); his wife Keney; his siblings, Gale, Gary, Rolland, Lois and Celia; his son-in-law John; and his stepgrandson Eric.
He is survived by: his children, Anita Smith (Andy) of Sylvania, GA, Byron Foster (Michael) of Mesa, AZ and Lavon Schmidt (Loren) of Coon Rapids, MN; his siblings, Robert Foster (Kathy) of Woodbury, MN, Glen Foster (Carol) of Mansfield, TX, Joy Brunner (Jerry) of Sand Springs, OK, Janice Kremers of Sartell, MN, Linda Warner (Ken) of White Bear Lake, MN and Karen Schmitz (Ted) of Afton, MN; his grandchildren, Melissa Marion (Eric) of High Point, NC, Brianna Bodunov (Daniel) of Roseville, MN, Mikayla Nixon (Ross) of Lauderdale, MN, Duane Wood (Leah) of Burbank, CA and Tyler Redlin (Heather Scherzer) of Moorhead, MN; and his stepgranddaughters, Erin Schmidt of Fort Worth, TX and Kelsey Schmidt of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by two great granddaughters, one great grandson, and expecting twin great grandchildren.
