He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Puhr and Ester Puhr (Weber); his sister MaryJane; his granddaughter Mackenzie; his stepgrandsons, Carter and Easton Supler; and his siblings, Lorraine Tjon, Leona Humphrey and Leanard Puhr.

He is survived by : his wife Janet Lautt (Vetter); his children, Sheila Brezina and Steven (Kristi); his stepchildren, Jennifer Norton (Robert), Sarahanne Skwiera (Taylor) and Tanner Lautt (Mary); his brother Michael; and his foster sister Angeline Anderson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren.

“Sorry to hear the news, Fran was my first supervisor at the 119th, and he was truly good at the job. He made sure we had our required blocks checked, and he gave us all the best possible work environment. Some of my best memories of the 119th were in POL. He truly was always there to help, and he always had a good attitude. He will be missed. Robert Olson”
