She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Johnson and Nettie Johnson; her husband Curt; and her siblings, Donald, Darwin (Dubby), Norma, Shirley and Mildred (Babe).
She is survived by: her children, Susan Hallstrom of Overland Park, KS, Russell Brown (Jeanine) of Colgate, ND, Pat Brown (Judy) of Hope, ND and Perry Brown (Cammie) of Hope, ND; her grandchildren, Luke Brown (Michelle), Chelsea Brown, Lindsay Ree (Jarrod), Evan Lautt, Caitlin Killoran (Justin), Natalie Lautt (TJ), Cassie Brown, Christine Hemmah (Andrew), Austin Brown (Jordan), Caleb Brown, Curtis Brown, Ethan Brown (Katie) and Micayla Brown; BriElle, Emercyn, Ava, Spencer Killoran, Leif, Elsie, Holt Hemmah, Jack Brown, Xander Brown, Clara, James Ree, Liam Brown, Ezra and Hudson Brown. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Colgate Presbyterian Church (13545 Trevor Dr, Colgate, ND 58046). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Page Cemetery or Hearts in Action (HIA), formally known as the Hospice of the Red River Valley.
