She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Shoman and Genevieve Shoman (Kabylnick). She is survived by : her close friend Scott Whipple; her sons, Tanner Bjorland (Jordan) and Jakob Bjorland; her pets, Bean and Nova; and her siblings, Susan Greenwood (John), Kathy York (Jeff), Nancy McConachie (James), Thomas Shoman (Lori) and Ron Shoman (Mary Havelange). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
