Swanson of West Fargo, North Dakota, born in Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on October 23, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Swanson and Ruth Swanson (Marshall); his wife Judy (Judy); his siblings, June Reik, Florence Anderson, Pearl Gross and Paul; and his brothers-in-law, John Reik, Clarence Anderson and William "Al" Gross.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Stacey Lynn Swanson and Shelly Marie Swanson; his daughters, Stacey Arntson (Dave) of Fargo, ND and Shelly Fields (Jon) of West Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Adam Asleson (Brandi) and Emily Asleson of Mapleton, ND; his great grandchildren, Henry Asleson and Elijah Asleson of Mapleton, ND; his siblings, Millie Dahl of Leawood, KS, Roy of Wheatland, ND and Robert (Lynn) of Las Vegas, NV; and his sister-in-law Carol Newman of Portland, OR..
