He was predeceased by: his parents, L. R. Lepird and Irma Lepird (Magnuson); his wife Andrea Walburg; his granddaughter Amy Finstad; and his siblings, Lt. Jack Lepird, Betty Kvamme (Ralph), Carole Kvamme (Fred), Joy Otterson (Arne), Kay Fields (Ray) and Gloria.
He is survived by: his children, Lorie Finstad (John) of Lisbon, ND, Jack (Gloria) of Tempe, AZ, Kurt (Shawna) of West Fargo and Matt (Jessica) of West Fargo; and his grandchildren, Jill Krueger (Jeromy), Katie Geske (Kyle), Anthony Finstad (Ashley), Levi Lepird, Paige Johnson, Isaac, Sophia and Anna Lepird. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
