He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Knudtson and Eleanore Knudtson (Aspingrin); and his brothers, Jim and Gene. He is survived by: his wife Ginny Holmberg Rasmussen; his children, Cristina Obermann of Duluth, MN, Alex Knudtson (Kristen) of Fargo and Melanie Shipek (YuWeng) of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Jennifer Glazman (Les), Roger Yeager, Nina Shipek, Isabella "Bella" Shipek, Emery Knudtson and Abigail Knudtson; his great grandchildren, Isabella "Izzy" Yeager, Lilli Glazman, Zeppelin Glazman and Ireland Glazman; his siblings, Ron (Deb) of Farmington, MN, Richard of Moorhead, ND, Elaine Jacobson (Harlan), Valley, LaVaye Luthi (Mike) of Hawley, MN and Donna Johnson of Argusville, ND; and his sisters-in-law, Colleen Knudtson of St. Michael, MN and Rose Knudtson of Dilworth, MN.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (2711 7th St E, Fargo, ND 58103). A vigil service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
