He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Axtmann (Joseph) of Aberdeen, SD and Jane Metzger (Steve) of Carrington; his grandchildren, Marie Langbehn (Dale) of Huron, SD, Jennifer Jensen (Jamison) of Argusville, Dan Metzger (Lisa) of Horace, Rebecca Driedger (Derek) of Mitchell, SD, Matt Metzger (Kate) of St. Louis Park, MN and Patrick Metzger (Carissa) of Casselton; his great grandchildren, Arianna, Emma Langbehn, Marcus, Connor, Josie Jensen, Theo, Ben Metzger, Racquel, Karina Driedger and Zahra Metzger; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Gapp of Walhalla, Cecilia Kryzsko and Velma Gapp of Rolla.
