He is survived by: his children, Dawn Hawkinson (Cary) of Green Valley, AZ, Cheri Peterson of Parker, CO and Curt Peterson (Megan) of Velva, ND; his grandchildren, Jaden (Noelle Wallwork), Ashlyn Hawkinson, Ally Nelson, Quintin (Gabby Hummel), Kinley Peterson and Lexton Smith; and his sister Louann Peterson of Anchorage, AK. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
