He was predeceased by: his parents, Lena Marquart and Balzer Marquart; his wife Loretta Vondall; his siblings, Tony, Benny, Leo Marquart, Kathryn Keller and Victoria Sorenson; his sons, JB (John Balzer) and Jason Nester Marquart; his granddaughter Elisha Marquart; and his great grandchild Cassidy Davidson.
He is survived by: his daughters, DelRae Lowe, Carrie Davidson (Bob), Terri Bakke (Scott), Jackie Couture (Dave) and Amy Haase (Mike).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (106 6th St W, Williston, ND 58801). A rosary was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Riverview Cemetery (815 9th Ave W, Williston, ND 58801).
