He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Geltel and Christine Geltel; his in-laws, Murell and Bernice Knudsvig; and his siblings-in-law, Gene Knudsvig, Gary Knudsvig, Duane Lundby and Donna Vessar.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Knudsvig; his daughter Katie Deichert (Cole); his grandchildren, Eislynn, Graham and Nolan; his son Kevin Geltel (Codi); his grandchildren, Cabri, Archer and Lindy; his siblings, Marilyn Barbie (Paul), Betty Lundby, Jim Geltel (Janet), David Geltel (Lori), Kaye Andersen (Gary) and Steve Geltel (Julie); and his siblings-in-law, Larry Knudsvig (Glennis), LaRene Magnuson, Pat Bilbrey (Don), Pam Knudsvig, Linda Knudsvig and Roxi Knudsvig. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be sent to the Grenora Sportsman's Club or a local charity of choice.
