He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Ella (Lueck); his wife Lenor Grantham; his grandchildren, Matthew Berg and Abbey Berg Han; and his brother John.
He is survived by: his children, Russell Stewart, Debra Middleton (Dana) and Vicki Berg; his grandchildren, Elisabeth Giles (Robert), Christopher Barber (Natasha), Erin Reidman (Tanner), Meghan Langley (Michael), Rev. Chad Berg and Brayden Berg (Jaime); his great grandchildren, Harvey, Hewitt Reidman, Emma and Annie Barber; his sisters, Clarene Pottenger and Donna Grindberg; and his siblings-in-law, Sheila Clark (Harold) and Butch Sammons (Brenda).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mission Evangelical Free Church (701 7th St N, Wilton, ND 58579). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
