LeRoy touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While LeRoy’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Buck and Lydia Buck (Remboldt); and his daughters, Pam Johnson (Robert), Robin Dewald (Vaughn), Shirli Nenow (Mickey), LoLita Dutton (Barry) and Tanya Schnabel (Todd). He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hope Ebenezer Church (122 Mary St N, Streeter, ND 58483). A prayer was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to one of the following: McCoy Ministries, Hope Ebenezer Church or the Streeter Senior Center.
