She is survived by: her pet Dusty; her husband Gywn Wingate (Bud); her children, Christine Nelson (Mark) of Lincoln, NE, Neil Wingate of Lincoln, NE, Travis Wingate (Megan) of Neligh, NE, Ginger L'Heureux (Jeremy) of Cedar Falls, IA and Jared Wingate (Kodi) of Filley, NE; her grandchildren, Laurel, Rachel, R. Rush, Tristen, Taryn, Kenzi, August, Oliver, Evelyn, Kyle and Vivianne; and her siblings, Floyd Zabel (Judy), Mary Buckley (John) and Linda Samples. She is also survived by extended family, dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A prayer was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Adams (405 7th St, Adams, NE 68301). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family for future designation.
