He is survived by: his children, Heidi Shanno (Dave) of Albion, NE and Clint Palmer of Albion, NE; his grandchildren, Darien Shanno of Spalding, NE and Cody Shanno (Whitney) of Blair, NE; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Ellie and Alora; and his sister Sandy Cook (Frank) of Baker City, OR. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
