With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean M Bittner of Albion, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean M Bittner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William V. Stromp and Arnolla F. Stromp (Hinze); her husband Dick Bittner; and her sister JoEllyn Keeler. She is survived by: her daughter Kim Coakes (Tracy) of Albion, NE; her granddaughters, Lacey Keeshan (Shaun) of Holdrege, NE and Sara Rasmussen (Cody) of Albion, NE; her great grandchildren, Grady Keeshan, Kelby and Kessa Rasmussen; and her sister Mary Katherine Jumps of McCook, NE. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church - Albion (319 S 5th St, Albion, NE 68620). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Boone County Health Center Cancer Management and Rehab.
