He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William E. Darveau and Elvena C. Darveau (Jespersen); his siblings, Clyde (Candy), Betty (Marvin), Elaine, Patsy, Jean, Debra and Jody (Sonja); his wife Deanna Lynn Garrett; and his great grandchildren, Camrie and Rylie. He was also cherished by parents' union with many, many children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church in Alliance.
