She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith "Keets" Markoff and Neoma Markoff (Shigley); her parents-in-law, Calvin and Virlene Tolstedt; her brother Dick; and her siblings-in-law, Sande Markoff, Idonna Minnick (Bob), Keith Tolstedt (June) and Dean Tolstedt (Sharon).
She is survived by: her husband Frank Tolstedt; her children, Brad Tolstedt (Carrie) of Scottsdale, AZ and Jana Goranson (Joe) of Gordon, NE; her grandchildren, Lauren Goranson of Omaha, NE and Nicholas Goranson (Deanna) of Scottsbluff, NE; and her great grandchildren, Rhen and Piper Goranson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends.
Memorial donations in JoAnn's memory may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church of Alliance, Carnegie Arts Center, or Highland Park Care Facility.
