She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Colerick and Irene Colerick (Kaiser); her husband Gerald "Punk" Cody; her brother Gerald "Jerry"; her sister-in-law Louise Colerick; her parents-in-law, Ed and Mary Cody; and her brother-in-law James Butcher.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Cody Garcia (Michael) of Columbus, NE; her grandchildren, Morgan Slusarski and Nathan Slusarski of Lincoln, NE; her stepgrandchildren, Paige Garcia and Parker Garcia of Paton, IA; her sister-in-law Teresa Butcher; and her nieces and nephews, Steve Colerick, Jeff Colerick, Pat Colerick, Jim Butcher, Rita Arnoldy and Mary Butcher.
Memorials may be given to the family for a later designation or given to a charity of the donor's choice.
